وهذا هو السائق الذي يشتبه في اصابته ستة اشخاص من بينهم ثلاثة اطفال عندما كانت سيارته تخرج عن السيطرة من خلال حقل مليء بالمئات من المسلمين الذين كانوا يحتفلون بنهاية شهر رمضان.
السيارة محروقة في الحشود الذين كانوا معبأة في الملعب الرياضي الذي كان بمثابة موقف للسيارات للاحتفالات عيد في كلية ويستغات المجتمع، نيوكاسل.
هرب الضحايا الدمويون عندما انحرفت السيارة حول الميدان، فقط على الطريق من مسجد نيوكاسل المركزي، قبل قفز المارة وسحب فرملة اليد.
وقال شهود عيان ان السائق، وهي امرأة مسلمة تبلغ من العمر 42 عاما، دخلت سيارتها في الساعة 9.14 صباحا بعد صلاة عندما "ضرب
الغاز لا كسر" وانتقلت إلى البالغين والأطفال.
وقد اعتقلت المرأة واحتجزت، بيد ان الشرطة قالت ان الحادث ليس ارهابيا. تم تصوير السيارة في وقت لاحق يجري اتخاذها بعيدا لتحليلها.
وقال مساعد رئيس الشرطة دارين بيست قبيل الساعة الثانية مساء، إن اثنين من الأطفال وواحد بالغين ما زالوا في العناية المركزة في مستشفى فيكتوريا الملكي
This is the driver suspected of accidentally injuring six people including three children when her car careered out of control through a field full of hundreds of Muslims who had been celebrating the end of Ramadan.
The car ploughed into crowds who had packed into a sports pitch that was serving as a car park for Eid celebrations in Westgate Community College, Newcastle.
Witnesses said the driver, a 42-year-old Muslim woman, got into her car at 9.14am after prayers when she 'hit the gas not the break' and sped into adults and children.
Bloodied victims fled as the car sped around the field, just down the road from Newcastle Central Mosque, before a bystander leapt in and pulled the handbrake.
The woman was arrested and taken into custody but police said the incident was not terror related. The car was later filmed being taken away to be analysed.
Speaking just before 2pm, Assistant Chief Constable Darren Best said two of the children and one adult were still in intensive care at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
